Wireless goes for Woolworths

The Wireless Group has committed all of its local stations to the new Woolworths' Hit 40 UK after considering a possible deal with both top 40 charts.

The addition of the extra Wireless Group stations now means that the chart is heard on 96 commercial radio outlets, giving it a combined audience of 4.2 million listeners each week.
