You may, or may not, have discovered that Media UK contains details of all station launches (well, as close as we can get). And recently we started adding David Lloyd's excellent "radio moments": more snippets of history from radio's past. These now include audio clips too.
As an example, the page from 22 Dec contains a clip of Noel Edmonds on Radio Luxembourg, bits of Just a Minute, and a bit of Pete Murray from LBC.
If you want to listen to today's clips, then you'll find them at http://www.mediauk.com/radio/moments - a URL that automatically chooses the right page to give you. When we remember, we'll add better navigation to this section from elsewhere on Media UK.
David Lloyd's Radio Moments are also part of the Radio Academy's weekly podcast, and on Twitter at @davidlloyd - our pages are updated shortly after David posts them on Twitter, at 8.00am weekdays and 9.00am weekends.
