Changes to our email alerts

We've changed our email alerts to be more comprehensive and better. Here's how.

We send out over 13,000 emails every day, and we thought it was time to make them clearer and more useful.

We send news and jobs in the same email
A lot of you said "Oh, we get your jobs email, but we only use it for news now." Fair enough. And you'll now find that our email contains both news and jobs - so you'll get a better service.

You can now only get jobs from one area of the media
Budding radio presenter getting emails containing jobs to become Editor of a newspaper? No worries. You can change your settings to only get stuff that's relevant to you. Or, get all media jobs and news.

You can still set a time to get them
We send our emails at a time that you want to get them: so you can always change your settings and make sure your email is sent at a better time. Your email contains a link.

New no Daily Mail function
By popular request - well, one person asked - you can now ensure that we'll never send you any links to the Daily Mail. It's your sanity we're thinking about.
