Radio programmes about the future of radio

The future - and present - of radio makes it to the radio airwaves this Christmas and New Year

Followers of radio’s future might like a listen to the following programmes over the Christmas period. I’m in each of these programmes, and currently planning my conference speaking schedule for 2013, which includes speaking engagements in Tel Aviv, Berlin, Vancouver, Penticton and Helsinki. Contact me if I can help at your radio conference.

The Media Report on ABC is certainly a very informative listen and probably highlights the concerns that we’ll soon be facing in South Africa in the digital migration process and with new streaming music services launching.

I’m currently working on developing a custom offering for SABC radio that will require users to register and use the profile data captured to provide targeted advertising similarly to the offering you described for the radio station in the UK.

Should you be finding your way to SA in 2013 then we should definitely meet or we can arrange a G+ hangout meeting and I can discuss the plans we have with the SABC.
