Media UK reprints various blog articles in our "opinion" sections for radio, television, newspapers or magazines. Our goal is to be considered a quality curated source for opinion about the media.
When we re-print, we undertake to:
1. Always credit the author, including linking to Twitter, Google+ and a personal website, and a mini biography
2. Always link to the original article source
3. Never publish within 24 hours of the original article, unless agreed separately, ensuring your site get 'first publishing' credit
4. Supply up-to-date statistics for every article
We promote individual articles via Twitter, Facebook, and Google+; author credits automatically filter through to Twitter cards.
As a point of policy, Media UK never uses "do not follow" links; so every link helps with Google.
Things to know:
1. We use a manual selection of articles from your blog, based on our schedule and editorial policy. (If you're really proud of one, please do drop us a line - admin@mediauk.com - to give us a heads-up)
2. We sub-edit articles for reasons of style, length or technical capability; including headlines and descriptions.
3. Where your post includes images, we'll only use them if they're published as Creative Commons attribution ("CC-BY"), or they are the author's photographs. We'll source our own otherwise.
If you'd like us to consider your blog as a source for reprinting, please get in touch.
