Latest review: When first purchased, the ChargePak was faulty. Pure's support was woeful but luckily Amazon's is excellent and they swapped the battery free of charge. So, the radio finally worked but then it stopped after about 6 weeks - the display just flashes, regardless of whether it's run from the mains or from the ChargePak. Useless. 1/5

Latest review: I recently bought this radio (not from Amazon) but had to take it back to the shop the very same day because of sound problems. In the background there was what can only be described as a "garden shears" noise which sounded constantly. Since I mostly listen to classical or jazz music while I work, the noise was very noticeable and I could not listen to the radio for longer than five minutes before switching it off in annoyance. I believed this to be a fault with the radio only, and returned it to the shop and got a replacement. This had the same problem. A quick search on the internet revealed a few otheres who had had this problem with the radio when listening to it around Oxford (where I too am based) so perhaps it is only a localised problem. Also, on the second model, the aerial was so flimsy, it broke as I extended it for the first time (and I am a careful person). I eventually decided to purchase the Sony XDRS10DABMI DAB Radio which has excellent sound quality. We have had no problems with this model thus far. I would recommend you avoid this Intempo model as we had nothing but problems with it. 1/5

Latest review: I bought the DAB 1500 with a view to sailing down the promenade a la bicycle, spinning to the latest digitally enhanced tunes..!!! The outcome? 8 stations of a largely religious or easy listening nature, no nationals, no talksport, no nowt!! The answer to the next question in yuor mind, is YES, I do recieve these stations normally as I have the PURE Evoke 2XT which picks up endless stations clearly. I do wander whether the ariel (within) the earphones was sufficient, despite the Pure cistomer servcie peoeple tellign me it should be. SO....refund kindly accepted. maybe it was a bad set, maybe the headphones, dont know. 1/5

Latest review: My old kitchen radio/cd player was just awful trying to get a signal plus the CD didn't work anymore. I would have loved to have a CD player included in this purchase but the real joy is that you can actually get a clear sound.......even if you walk in front of it!!!! The other one just faded crackled and was generally very irritating. Really pleased with the radios reception. Bit of along wait because we were told the first one went astray and the website keeps telling you to wait until the time is up but once the time was up they said it was re-sent and it came the very next day. 5/5
