Its staff of 48 includes editors, reporters, designers, and web content providers located at ACS headquarters in Washington, D.C., and in field offices in Edison, N.J.; Berkeley, Calif.; Chicago; Boston; Houston; Berlin; and Hong Kong.
If you are looking for a fast-paced, challenging environment, Chemical & Engineering News has an opening for a Europe-based reporter. We are seeking an individual to write about business events and trends in the European chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
The ideal candidate will have at least seven years of experience in business or financial reporting. A college degree is required. A degree in chemistry or chemical engineering is an advantage. The candidate must be able to generate story ideas independently, be capable of working in a fast-paced news environment with weekly deadlines, and be able to complete projects with limited supervision.
