Blogger - Personal Finance / Consumer Issues / Investigative, Bitterwallet.com
This job is located in UK (map)
This is your best and perhaps only opportunity to work with a team as comfortable with reporting consumer news and personal finance, as it is with publishing photos of the world’s largest bacon sandwich.
Bitterwallet is a consumer-based website featuring news, money-saving tips, consumer campaigns and plenty of nonsense besides. We reach a quarter of million avid readers every month, and we’re wanting to build on our current offering and increase our readership.
We’re looking for freelance writers, bloggers in particular, with experience and a keen interest in the following areas:
- personal finance – consumer news – investigative journalism
We like people who can deliver personal finance with personality, consumer issues with cojones. Perhaps you’re already writing for another publication or website and want an outlet for your more vitriolic musings.
Above all else, you must be able to drill down and offer in-depth coverage of a topic while delivering it in an engaging, sharp and clever style.
In return, we can offer regular paid commissions and the opportunity to pitch your ideas.
In the first instance, tell us a little about yourself and provide an example or two of an article or post relevant to the topics above.
