Blur bassist to host Radio 4 farming show

He lives in a house, a very big house in the country.Blur bassist Alex James is to become a regular presenter on Radio 4's "On Your Farm" from the new year.The musician — who owns a 200-acre plot of land in the Cotswolds, keeps sheep and practises traditional cheesemaking — will take over as one of the regular presenters on the Sunday evening show from 14 January.Executive producer Steve Peacock told Nme.com: "I would anticipate there are plenty of farmers who would sneer at being told about farming by a guy from Blur, but when they get to know him they'll realise he's keen and really getting a grip on it."
