XFM South Wales Launch Date Announced |

 XFM South Wales will launch on Thursday 29th November at 12pm it has been announced. The station will broadcast from the same site as GCap Media's other Welsh radio station Red Dragon FM in Cardiff.
It was announced last week that Mike Newman has been appointed as Programme Controller and Emma Newman as the Music Scheduler. XFM's managing director Nick Davidson said: "Now we have the launch date in place we are working full steam behind the scenes to give the listeners of South Wales a fantastic launch. This will be followed up within days by one of the biggest music events the area has ever seen – Winter Wonderland. Announcements on our exciting DJ line-up that will get our listeners raring to tune in are just around the corner." XFM's regional sales director Dominic Barker said: "This is a really exciting time for the Xfm network and now that we've got a launch date for the new station we are working with both our programming team and our clients to develop a range of innovative sponsorship and promotional opportunities that will create real synergy between the Xfm South Wales brand and our clients objectives, both nationally and locally."
