Radio Leicester Sports Legends Return |

 Sports personalities are returning to BBC Rado Leicester for a special reunion event to celebrate the station's 40th anniversary on Monday 8th October.
BBC cricket correspondent Jonathan Agnew, BBC Football Focus host Manish Bashin and Iain Carter, BBC Five Live's golf correspondent, will attend the reunion alongside Bleddyn Jones and Russell Hobbs. Jonathan Agnew said: "If it hadn't been for the chance that Radio Leicester gave me all those years ago, I certainly would not be in the happy position that I find myself in today." Kate Squire, the station's Editor, says: "In a special programme celebrating our 40th year BBC Radio Leicester listeners can hear the memories and stories from the talent our station has produced." Nick Mullins, John Rawling and Steve Lambden will also be returning.
