Former popular BBC Radio Bristol presenter John Turner is heading back behind the microphone to host a new weekend show on Original 106.5. John’s new Sunday morning show will feature easy listening music and lively debate, starting on October 21st.
Bristol-born John decided to hang up his headphones in July 2007 after 29 years with BBC Bristol. The arrival of Original 106.5 has tempted John to return to the airwaves much sooner than expected. “They offer a breath of fresh air across the city, and I am looking forward to broadcasting to my regular listeners as well as a brand new audienceâ€.
