Cumbrian Town Set for Digital Switchover |

The first switchover from analogue to digital television in the UK will take place at around 2am tomorrow. The location for the first switchover is Whitehaven in Cumbria with BBC Two no longer being broadcast in analogue.
The other analogue channels will be switched off in four week. The residents of Whitehaven that have made the switch to digital will be able to receive many channels which include BBC News 24, BBC Parliament and Film Four. |
