Dutch radio listening figures for August/September

The Dutch radio listening figures for August/September 2007 were published today by research bureau Intomart GfK. The effects of recent changes in distribution platforms is beginning to show in the listening figures. Arrow Classic Rock has increased its market share to 2.7% since its move to FM. Radio 10 Gold has dropped to 4.1%, but in August it was still on mediumwave, so a further drop seems likely next month.

Q-music has increased it share to almost 7%, and it was a good month for niche station 100%NL which increased from 0.8 to 1.1%. Public network Radio 5, which caters for older listeners, has continued its upward trend, and has a share of 2.2% compared to 0.9% for the old Radio 747. It’s now slightly ahead of Radio 4 for the first time.

The audience shares in percent (July/August in brackets) were as follows:
