Getting through to Gainsborough Target to advertise

I want to advertise with the Gainsborough Target – what do I do – I look at the contact email address on the inside cover of the newspaper, which I duly send an email to. 5 days later – no reply. I check the contact number for advertising on the inside cover of the newspaper – ring it – no longer in use – no other number given. I then find a classads number mentioned once within the middle pages of the newspaper, which I ring – answered by “we cannot take your call now, please call back later” – not even a queueing system. I tried this 4 times, and got the same message.
I now plan on advertising in the Gainsborough Standard, at least they have a local office I can pop into.
I hear the Target is closing as a newspaper – no wonder, if no advertisers can get through….
