Guys you are missing a market. Who? My wife and I.

We are in our cough middle to late fifties and have relatively got into cycling though I hubby have done a fair bit in the past, but leisure cycling.

The mag while reasonably good seems aimed at the sportif getting on for racing people, fair enough but….

There are a lot, as we see them out on the road/ canal paths/trails, of people our age who are not club members nor interested in high end cycling but we are very interested in being fit and active and use cycling to that end.

My wife in particular is very annoyed with your lack of coverage of our age group and our type of activities especially for women.

Another matter is you keep pushing group riding. Oh dear its not for all you know.

Our experience… CTC,,, organised ride that changed route and took in a pub that was not scheduled ending in a race for the last train, sadly missed and a 15 mile ride home on dangerous roads with no lights as it was not planned for. Did we go back.. err NO.

Club…. asked if they had a more mature section for the slower riders thinking my subs could assist the outfit… got a very snooty letter back saying we are a racing club… and jolly good luck to you sir.

Anyway we prefer to ride alone as do many and would like some articles about US for our money. You can do it, and our market is a growing one with money….

Kind regards

Julie and Pete

Bath based http://www.espoke-cyclevents.co.uk/ is specifically designed to meet these needs.
We are lifelong cyclists with a wealth of experience and are proud to offer something just a bit different.

We recognise that many cyclists wish to share the knowledge of safe and interesting routes but may also wish to tackle things at their own pace.

We are pleased to announce a cycling experience with a difference.
