About The Role
As Games Editor, you'll be tasked with writing sparkling words for Future's biggest unofficial magazines – Xbox World, PSM3 and NGamer – as well as our award-winning website CVG. This is a key editorial appointment, so the candidate will be expected to be someone a bit special: a brilliant writer and superhuman deadline-meeter, you'll also be comfortable building relationships with PRs, attending media events and interviewing industry luminaries. As well as working closely with our team on CVG to deliver outstanding reviews content, you'll be talking regularly to our in-house video production team, generating ideas, video and voice-over's for use across our websites and magazine cover discs.
You live and breathe games, will have a good knowledge of the industry and what gamers are playing and talking about. You'll be versatile and creative, able to adapt your style to each of the brands and work to tight deadlines. Previous writing experience, both in print and online, is preferred.
