About The Role
Official Nintendo magazine is looking for a talented designer to join their great team. As Deputy Art Editor you will have a creative and supportive role working closely with the Art Editor to work on and develop one of the biggest games brands. You will be directly responsible for laying out up to 70% of the magazine meeting the highest production standards possible and the deadlines set. You will have the opportunity to commission, direct and layout photo shoots from sketchbook to magazine.
About You
You will be creative, enthusiastic, highly organised and able to demonstrate the ability to design and execute pages that capture the essence of Nintendo. With proven experience of professional design practice gained on a national consumer magazine and a good understanding of typography, magazine design you will be proficient in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator and have a BA in Graphic Design or equivalent qualification. A passion for and knowledge of computer games would also be advantageous.
