About the role
As a fashion and beauty journalist writing for Cafe La Moda, you will have the potential for your work to be read by hundreds of thousands of people visiting our new website, launched in both the UK (www.cafelamoda.co.uk) and USA (www.cafelamoda.com). This role is initially on a 3 month contract but would be subject to review after this period.
Requirements
- Fashion and/or beauty knowledge is essential
- Previous writing experience

Primarily you will be responsible for writing content for Cafe La Moda UK, our fashion and beauty website. Within your role you will be directly reporting to the editor.
The kinds of content that you will be expected to write will mainly consist of style notes, which aid visitors to our website in their buying decision. You will be briefed before each task, with guidelines of what to cover and any industry vocabulary that needs to be incorporated.
When writing content you will be given a house style sheet to follow, that will set out the writing style that we expect. Once you have written a piece of content, it will be reviewed by the in-house editor, who will then get back to you with a constructive critique of your work along with any necessary changes.
