A great career opportunity as a Senior Account Manager has become available at a rapidly growing publishing company. With a passion for business development and media you will be working on the company’s ultra luxury watch magazine that targets affluent readers. Based in South East London you will be on a basic salary of £22-30k with an uncapped commission structure £50k OTE.

Our client is an ambitious company that strives to take a different approach within the luxury media industry. The company has great plans and therefore there are numerous opportunities for growth and development.

As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling to all the major luxury brands for this monthly magazine. Your primary aim will be to increase and develop sales through: – Identifying new clients by means of telephone calls and independent research – Building rapport with prospective clients – Negotiating the terms with clients and closing deals confidently – Arranging and closing face to face business meetings – Meeting revenue targets both individually and in a team – Managing your accounts in a professional and courteous manner – Promoting brand awareness and providing a right representation of the company – Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements and delivering effective response to enquiries and request from the clients.
Personality:

You will be an outgoing, ambitious and money motivated person. Due to the nature of the business, you will have to be able to think independently and work in a pressurised environment. Our client is a young business and therefore they are looking for a commercially astute and creative individual who will be able to come up with ideas and a plan to materialise them. You will be expected to go the extra mile in this role, where there will be a need to attend various events outside the normal working days as well as to travel worldwide.
