Are you a talented and ambitious designer? Do you want to further your career in both print and digital magazine design?
We are looking for a magazine designer to work on layouts for Future's world-leading cycling media division.
Working as part of the Sports Special Projects team, you will have the opportunity to carry your visual ideas from concept right through to execution in print and packaging for the Sports portfolio, in digital editions and online.
You'll design page layouts ensuring that they flow visually and be involved in image selection, liaising with freelance designers, and assisting at photo shoots.
You'll demonstrate an enthusiasm for print, digital and interactive design and have a strong portfolio that showcases your print design skills and layout experience.
An understanding of magazine craft is needed alongside good skills in design packages including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
A good understanding and interest in existing or emerging digital platforms, digital magazines and apps are preferable, but not essential.
Excellent organisation and communication skills are essential as well as a can do attitude to designing to tight deadlines.
