Sub Editor, Progressive Digital Media - England

Progressive Digital Media is seeking a sub-editor to join its editorial team helping to produce the group’s market-leading magazines and websites. Our sub-editors work with editors, designers, sales executives and clients to ensure the highest standards of accuracy and quality across all our content output. 

Our Global Trade Media magazines and their accompanying websites are essential sources of information for senior executives and decision-makers in global industries including energy, transport, hospitality, architecture and healthcare.

To ensure your best opportunity to gain an interview, you should demonstrate the below criteria in your cover letter:

In print:

You’ll have experience of taking content from raw copy to press, sub-editing in Word and making page changes in InDesign. You’ll work closely with the design team on page layout, imagery, headlines and standfirsts.

Online:

You’ll sub-edit online news, features and other content on our industry-specific websites, using our own content management system.

Other responsibilities:

These include working on special supplements, third-party publishing deals and marketing material.
