We are looking for X2 Staff Writers, who love to cover local and national news, celebrity interviews and more across our group of growing publications Job is based at our Leeds offices.
We publish the newly launched "Yorkshire Reporter" newspaper and the longest established free British-Asian newspaper - the "Asian Express" (Yorkshire and National titles with over 1.2 million readers).
Primary job responsibilities include sourcing and writing informative, fair and concise stories relevant to the surrounding community, tracking news, developing sources and communicating with the Editor about stories.
This is an exciting opportunity to explore your skills and fast-track your career as there are plenty of opportunities to take on the roles of sub-editor/section editor/deputy editor for the right person.
We’re seeking someone with a NCTJ or equivalent qualification. Experience of working in a B2B environment and photography skills highly desired.
Candidate must have a license and clean driving record.
