Editor – The Lex 100, the leading resource for student lawyers
Legalease, the market-leading publisher of Legal Business and The Legal 500, is looking for an editor to run The Lex 100 – the well-established website and annual directory for law students.
As editor you will be in charge of producing content, including writing,editing and commissioning pieces for our daily site and fortnighly newsletter, as well as overseeing the editorial process for Lex’s annual student directory. As part of a small team, you will be the face of the publication, with responsibility for representing the brand at events/law fairs and maintaining industry contacts with major law firms. We are also looking to our editor to help evolve the brand, push forward our social
media strategy and have input on new products.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working on a weekly news service or regularly updated website and be a natural networker. Content management experience would be beneficial. Knowledge of the legal industry
is a definite plus as we will also consider strong candidates from a law or research background in addition to applicants with journalism experience. The most important qualities are determination, enthusiasm and
high standards.
