We are looking for a Senior Editor to join the team. You will be responsible for the ongoing upkeep and management of the ESPN.co.uk site, ensuring editorial standards are maintained and new technology and products are efficiently implemented. You will also be responsible for co-ordinating with other EMEA Senior Managers and the management of staff, ensuring the best quality work is produced and the team are being developed.
You will oversee the daily operation of the ESPN.co.uk site and driving the editorial look and feel within EMEA guidelines. You will be responsible for the medium to long-term planning to ensure future-event planning is transparent and ongoing and the commissioning internal and third-party features and columns. Coordinating with other editorial teams and working closely with production on development of the site will be essential to your success in the role as well as being aware of industry developments and assisting production/commercial with new products.
You will join us with excellent knowledge of domestic and international sport, the ability to use existing technology and adapt to future changes, and experience of working online. You will have the ability to manage a team and show excellent organisational skills. You will write accurately and coherently under pressure, as well as having some online experience. Attention to detail and an ability to embrace new technologies is vital.
