We are a leading publishing company within the private banking sector, running a portfolio of highly successful websites and media contracts.

Our North West London-based office houses an editorial team, currently consisting of an editor and one reporter, two company directors and a PA - we are looking for a reporter to join the editorial department in line with our growth plan for 2013/14.

We have three media financial websites aimed at intermediaries in the financial services sector. Providing news, features, interviews and more, the websites are the market-leading titles for finance professionals in the short term and specialist lending sectors.

Job Description

We’re looking for a dynamic, hard-working reporter with an interest in financial journalism who will assist the Editor in maintaining the position of the publications at the forefront of the short term finance industries.

The reporter will produce editorial content for bi-weekly newsletters, providing support to other members of the team, social media updates and administration assistance. The successful candidate will also help to create and upload unique content on to our websites.

We are looking for not only a confident and able journalist, but an outgoing communicative individual who will relish the opportunity to be given the responsibility to manage their own time and bond with a small team in a fun, outgoing office.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be an NCTJ qualified journalist, but would best suit a recent graduate with proven experience;
• Is eager to work hard to establish a name for themselves in the fast-paced private financial services sector;
• Possesses a genuine interest in news reporting and thrives on going out and getting the scoop;
• Is comfortable interviewing, liaising and networking with high-end clients;
• Has good time management skills and is well-presented at all times;
• Is not afraid of long hours and commitment to the job;
• Enjoys a friendly, relaxed and family-like environment but is able to focus and get the job done;
• Can produce examples of work in support of their application; and
• Possesses a vibrant, energetic attitude and demeanour.
