One of the UAE’s leading consumer lifestyle magazine publishers is looking for an experienced magazine sub-editor. You will be working on a busy central desk handling copy on everything from music to motoring, food to fashion, design to diets.
The successful candidate will be able to sub to the voice of each title, demonstrating flexibility of style and an understanding of local cultural sensitivities. You will work across our portfolio of magazines and must be adept at juggling your workload and able to prioritise tasks to meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines.
You must have a minimum of seven years’ experience in a consumer magazine environment, be a stickler for detail, enjoy working as part of a team and be comfortable working under pressure to tight deadlines. Knowledge of InCopy is required; knowledge of InDesign is an advantage.
