Would you like to work as art editor on the world's biggest movie magazine for one of Future Plus' biggest clients?
Leading the design of the magazine you will be responsible for producing, and briefing design staff and freelancers to produce all aspects of layout, design and photography. You will take responsibility for the cover, the quality of styling and art direction of any photography, as well as laying out pages in the magazine style. You will contribute ideas for designs and themes and work to client expectations and budgets.
About you
You will have experience of working in a customer publishing environment preferably as an art editor. Experience of refocusing magazines, driving and managing change, and having evidence of achieving outstanding quality improvements is essential. A high level of competence in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator is needed alongside excellent typographic and magazine craft skills.
In addition you will have experience of managing and developing a team and working to budgets. Good organisation and planning skills are needed as well as being able to work under pressure to deadlines. You will be tenacious and able to act on client feedback and requirements.
