Writer/news editor, Pressgang - England

We're looking for an experienced writer/news editor to work on a staff tabloid newspaper for a brand-leading company.

Newspaper experience is a must; corporate publishing experience would be useful but not essential.

The job involves newsgathering and writing for a red top tabloid produced monthly for energy company staff.

You will need to be able to build contacts and find stories, and then turn them into punchy tabloid copy. You will also need to work closely with our client to plan the paper and advise on content and story angles.

You will be based at modern offices in the West End. The  role will include other editorial duties and a willingness to learn new skills as part of a small, hard-working team.

There will be some UK travel, some laughs and some late nights.
