Senior Editor role for leading B2B brand with responsibility for generating high impact content and driving core digital content engagement.

This is a job for a B2B journalist with strong story-getting skills and existing experience of online editing and content development. Covering an exciting, consumer-facing sector of the financial services industry, you will draw heavily on your writing, editing, creative and organisational management skills.

You will become an evangelist for the the brand’s digital content strands and work alongside other senior members of the editorial team to optimise exclusive, high value and engaging content including news, features, investigations, analysis, white papers, data and research.

The post will also involve getting out into the market to chair roundtables and other events and produce the resulting copy for publication in print and online.

Requirement:

* Demonstrable story getting experience. * Demonstrable experience of online editing/content development. * A minimum of two years section editing experience. * A minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a senior journalist on a newspaper or business magazine. * Knowledge of the financial services sector is desirable but not a pre-requisite. * The confidence to represent the brand in the marketplace and moderate events comprising senior industry figures. * The ability to work flexibly and out of hours as required. * Computer literate with specific experience of Word, Excel and online content management systems. * Experience of working in a creative process. * Track record of managing/helping junior reporters. * Experience of working within cross discipline project teams.
