Junior Features Writer - Beauty

Guild Press Ltd, the UK and Ireland’s leading beauty trade publisher, has a vacancy for a Junior Features Writer, commencing mid-late January 2010.

The position is based full time in our offices in Derby city centre and would suit a recent journalism graduate.

You will posses a degree / HND in Journalism, Media or another relevant subject, with an eagerness to increase your experience. Working knowledge of online publishing would be advantageous. A genuine interest in the professional beauty sector is essential.

You will be self-motivated and offer a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, organisation and flexibility, as well as excellent communication skills. You must be confident in meeting strict deadlines whilst using your own initiative to produce highly quality copy.

You will be joining a company that is constantly growing and working within a busy and professional but friendly team.

Established for over 12 years, Guild Press Ltd publishes four beauty trade titles and organises trade exhibitions across the UK and Ireland. In addition, we run market-leading website BeautyServe.com, and offer a number of other marketing options to the leading skin care, nails, tanning and complementary therapy suppliers.
