Do you know your Polartec from your Paclite, your Bridgedale from your Berghaus? If so, the UK's best-selling walking magazine wants to hear from you. Country Walking is looking for a new gear test editor. This is an important and influential role - our readers base their buying decisions on the magazine's tests and verdicts.
The ideal candidate will have a fascination for walking gear and a passion for the outdoors. He/she must have an unrivalled ability to differentiate between competing items and to communicate these differences clearly and concisely. You will need to be highly organised, a compelling ambassador for the magazine, and a great writer (there will be regular opportunities to write for other sections of the magazine).
