About the position
BeatThatQuote.com (TM) is looking to recruit an experienced and commercially aware site editor for its two primary properties: BeatThatQuote.com (the consumer facing website) and FinanceLeadsOnline.com (the financial intermediary facing website)
The role will report to the Company’s marketing manager and will include:
Defining the Company’s overall consumer and intermediary editorial proposition.
Overseeing the production of the websites’ editorial content including copywriting.
Overseeing the production of and contributing to the Company’s email newsletters which are broadcast to over 5 million recipients.
Overseeing the production of and writing content for the Company’s syndication partners, including: The Daily Mail, The Independent, MSN and Yahoo.
About the candidate
Only the very best candidates need apply for this position. The successful candidate should have the following attributes:
Several years experience writing about personal finance subjects
Experience of both online and offline media
Experience in managing both in-house and freelance journalists
An understanding of the commercial requirements of a company such as BeatThatQuote.com
Benefits
Basic Salary: £35-40k depending on experience
