When will Gold website repair ‘Search Playlist’ OR even bother to reply to requests for information?

I’m sure it’ll be fixed soon, hasn’t the website just been relaunched?

I do hope that you are right, but the ‘Search Playlist’ has been missing for a few weeks now and my various emails to Gold head office or to some of the presenters have all been unanswered

Hi Don,

None of your emails have reached me?!? However, I can help you with an explanation as to why the playlist is currently unavailable.

MediaSpan a US company who host the Gold website encountered a serious error almost a fortnight ago. This resulted in the framework for the site being severely affected.

We are waiting for them to re-construct the playlist / recently played section of the site.

It should be back very soon indeed.

Best wishes

Tony @ Gold

Hi Tony

Many thanks for your reply, and I hope you will have things sorted out soon, as I use Google in the evening to check the caste of films, etc., and Gold in the daytime when we have friendly arguments as to who sang the last record

Presumably none of your presenters or head office email contacts have been ‘submitting’ properly, and hope this is now sorted

I will put an ‘ apology ‘ on the relevant website

All the best

Don

ps I have only been a regular, 12 hours a day, listener to Gold 1557 since the original Hereward came to Northampton – how about a 50’s programme sometime for us older listeners ?
