Thanks Andy , i thought that was the problem , thanx for reply. Have a good new year .

absoluterad 60s great radio station BUT really bad reception problems on DAB no problem with 70,80,90 but 60’s is lousy you should sort this out them your listening figures would double just can’t get my head round an organization that could rival any station being so reticent to provide decent transmission signal so I and my other colleagues are giving you a miss due to poor reception

I gather from the fact that you can receive 70s, that you’re listening to one of the London multiplexes?
60s is on the weaker London 3 multiplex, which is also nulled to the south of London, due to sharing a frequency with the Sussex Coast multiplex.

with reference to Martin no I am in Bradford,West Yorkshire

Thats something my Dad would like. But not sure its avalible on the DAB I get. Though my Dad listens to Sounds of teh 60’s every week on Radio 2

It appears that you’re receiving a weak signal from the Leeds multiplex. Your local mutiplex is Bradford and Huddersfield doesn’t have Absolute Radio 60s.
80s and 90s are on the national Digital One multiplex which would be easier to receive in Bradford.

Absolute Radio 60s is available in the following areas.
Ayr
Bath and Wiltshire
Cardiff and Newport
Central Lancashire
Coventry
Exeter and Torbay
Humberside
Leeds
Liverpool
London
South Yorkshire
Swindon
Teesside
Tyne and Wear
The issue with Absolute Radio 60s is that it doesn’t play all 60s music, it bases it’s playlist on those artists who have influenced modern rock and pop. For example they won’t play Cliff Richard and the Shadows.
For a broader range of 60s music on DAB, you’re better off listening to Gold, Magic’s AM network if you live in the north of England or as you mention, Sounds of the Sixties on Radio 2.

So it is not absolute 60s is it, it is selective 60s. Seriously though, thanks for the list of areas it is available in.

If you mean Absolute Radio 60s, it’s not available on DAB in Stoke-on-Trent.
I can hear it in Congleton—but only because I get Liverpool’s multiplex by some fluke of propagation.
You can, of course, hear the service online via their website, and on the multiplexes listed here: http://www.mediauk.com/radio/344772/absolute-radio-60s
