LBC 97.3 Satellite Signal

Judy Coates posted on Saturday 6th July at 22:33For the past few days I have not been able to get a satellite signal for LBC. I have SKy TV and every other channel is working perfectly. Anyone know what the problem is?

LBC 97.3 is on the same satellite transponder as these channels:
LBC News 1152
BFBS
Heart 106.2
UCB TV
Horror Channel +1
Heat TV
Magic TV
Klear TV
CBS Action
Summer Hits TV
Jewellery Maker
and a few others (according to Lyngsat). So when you say every other channel, can you tune in the ones above that I have listed?
Eurobird 2A, the satellite that transmits a number of channels on Sky and Freesat is at a slightly different orbital position to the Astra satellites which transmit the other Sky/Freesat channels, and as a result viewers/listeners can suffer problems with these channels. If you have problems with the channels I have listed then one way to resolve the issue may be to ensure your dish is correctly aligned and of adequate size.
