RAJAR Q2/2012

Quidem obviously, as they now own all the small stations round my neck of the woods. Media Sound would be interesting too, I guess.

Quidem have only started reporting a group total this quarter so there wouldn’t be any proper history. Simply combining previous results of the relevant stations would not be a proper indicator because of overlapping TSAs.
i.e. the sum of the TSAs is 2,296,000 while ‘Total Quidem’ is 1,306,000
The Media Sound stations don’t participate in Rajar, so we’ll probably never know.

I would quite like to also graph “all radio” and see if I have any demographic information in the system. I think a look at younger audiences might prove instructive. Mind you, I am a little bored of RAJAR now!

UKRD’s likely to be a bit more difficult. For some reason – I think it may be to do with the merged (UKRD/TLRC) company shareholding structure – the former TLRC stations are still reported separately, i.e.
‘Total UKRD’ – 107 The Bee, 96.4 Eagle Radio, Eagle Extra (formerly County Sound 1566MW), KL.FM 96.7, Pirate FM, Star Radio in Cambridge
‘The Local Radio Company Group Total’ – 2BR, 97.2 Stray FM, Minster FM, Mix 96, Spire FM, Spirit FM, Star NE – North (was Durham FM), Star NE – South (was Alpha 103.2), Sun FM, Wessex FM, Yorkshire Coast Radio
