Trying to contact Jeff Lee in Reading?

posted on Sunday 14th April at 22:00

Does anyone have any contact info for Jeff Lee from Reading?

I don’t know if he is based at a station in Reading or is a contract engineer.

He may still have the factory code for getting into a pair of TX Technique TX1 FM exciters I’ve acquired.

Damn eproms.

Jeff is the former MD at Reading 107. He left around 5 years ago or so. He used to live in Swindon.

If it’s ex-R107 kit then Ian Hickling at Transplan may be able to help. When I worked there he engineered for us.

Hello Joff,

Many thanks.

I had in fact already dropped Ian a mail thinking if anyone out in that area knew Jeff it would be him and am awaiting a reply.

Thank you again.

John Bibby at Bitstream Broadcast has helped me discover the unlock code for a TX Techniques transmitter in the past. If you have the original paperwork I believe it is set to the same as the invoice number…

Hi Glyn,

I have spoken with John and he is able to reset the pin but not read it.

I do not have the original invoice.

This is the reason I am trying to contact Jeff as he may have access to the information required.

Many thanks.

David
