Wireless Headphones with LONG range

posted on Thursday 26th April 2012 at 13:41

Hi all:

Trying to get my hands on wireless headphones and associated transmitter etc, that has a range of up to 200m or above, if this is possible. Mainly for use as a roving reporter at events etc .
If anyone knows where I can get my hand on such a device, if there is one, please let me know.

Thanks in advance

Hi,
I used to use the Trantec system:

Worked perfectly – Comes with two small receivers and its stereo.

They look like channel 69 PMSE systems. These now have a very limited lifespan – the channel’s only to be used until 1st July in most areas of the UK (and 1st October in remaining areas).

New kit should really be ready to use channel 38 in the 600MHz band. Some details here: http://www.jfmg.co.uk/Pages/Docs/Ch38Letters.pdf
