Student Media Coordinator, Kent Union

This job is located in Canterbury, Kent, England. (map)

You will be responsible for the support and strategic development of student media across the student and local community. You will be responsible for the successful operation of the FM community radio station (CSR FM) and the student newspaper (inQuire) and will pursue opportunities to develop Kent Union’s provision in these areas. You will be a member of the Student Activities team, and will work within the Membership Services Directorate.

You will be a self-motivated, organised individual with exceptional communication skills. You will have experience of working with volunteers and have a passion for student and community media. Ideally, you will have a good grasp of media related legislation, developing strategic partnerships, and a background in students’ unions.
