A vacancy has arisen for a Marketing Executive in the Sport department.
Job purpose:
To implement the marketing strategy and campaigns for Press Association Sport products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implementation of marketing campaigns for products and services. This will include digital marketing, direct marketing, advertising, trade shows and events
• Support the marketing manager to develop and maintain supporting materials for the sales team around products and services including sales messaging, online and printed collateral, brochures, proposals and presentations
• This role will involve working closely with the commercial and sales teams, predominantly but not limited to the racing and betting sector
• Liaise with central communications on PR, internal communications, and corporate messaging
• Work with the marketing staff around the business to ensure a co-ordinated approach to marketing and communications activity
Essential skills/experience required:
• Must have experience in marketing
• Experience and knowledge of sport media market
• Experience of writing for web and email
• Experience implementing marketing plans including segmentation, targeting and tactics against measurable key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Digital marketing knowledge – website optimisation, email marketing, social media marketing and digital PR /advertising (SEM)
• A clear understanding of business-to-business (B2B) marketing
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with cross-department teams
• Comfortable working within a team as well as individually
Knowledge of the racing and betting sector would be desirable.
