MEDIA SALES EXECUTIVES

Leeds United is one of the biggest football clubs within Europe and has a substantial and extremely loyal fan base. We are now looking to expand our off field media sales team.

The Club is now looking for an outstanding Media Sales Executive to drive advertising sales revenue from the clubs media portfolio. We are looking for a highly motivated individual capable of effectively selling advertising solutions to companies throughout Yorkshire.

Selling advertising across the Club’s media portfolio including Yorkshire Radio, LUTV, the Official Match Programme and Outdoor Advertising sites across the stadium you will have a proven track record in delivering advertising sales, ideally within the Yorkshire region.

A radio sales background is preferred but not essential

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Maximising advertising revenue and yield from national, regional and local companies

Maximise advertising revenue from LUFC advertising & media properties

Maximise advertising revenue on Yorkshire Radio, through the sale of radio programme sponsorship packages and airtime packages

Deliver advertising solutions for companies looking to drive sales within the Yorkshire region

Responding to any agency airtime enquiries and briefs promptly

Creating and presenting proactive sales opportunities.

Maintaining records of meetings, airtime schedules and ensuring repeat business is increased wherever possible.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Minimum of 2 years advertising sales experience, ideally gained in radio sales

Strong knowledge of the radio industry and in particular DAB

Strong track record in delivering advertising sales revenues for local radio or local media

Good knowledge of the Yorkshire region, ideally with an existing contact network

Excellent presentation skills

Experienced in preparing sales presentations using Power Point

Good interpersonal and team player skills

Must hold a valid, clean driving licence
