We have a few positions that will prop up in the next couple of days.
We are currently recruiting for individuals that have experience in radio producing. We are looking for individuals that have some sort of idea what radio is and how it is run?
The position will be for a minimum of 2 hours a week. The candidate will be producing the sport show on Nomad Radio, which is a weekly show every Sunday between 8-10pm.
Prior to the broadcast, however, you may be involved in:
• researching topics and background information for items to be featured on the programme;
• planning and rehearsing shows;
• liaising with other members of the production
During the broadcast, you may be involved in:
• introducing and hosting programmes;
• interviewing guests in the studio, by telephone or on location;
• playing music;
• providing links between programmes;
• keeping the programme running to schedule – responding positively and quickly to problems or changes, and improvising where necessary;
After the broadcast, producers may be involved in:
• meeting with your presenter to assess/review the broadcast;
• meeting with the presenter to advance plan the next broadcast.
