NE1fm 102.5 is a community radio station based in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, and we are looking for a voiceover to record and feature on new station imaging for our 5th year of broadcast.

We’re looking for preferably local voices that can record at home and send us their recording over the internet, from a script that we provide.

YOU: Do you think you’d be a good voiceover? Perhaps you already record for people and want to work on a new and exciting project? You’d be telling our audience who and what they’re listening to, and you’d be heard throughout the day across our programming.

US: We are NE1fm 102.5, a full-time community radio station that launched in June 2007. We’ve recently received an extension of our licence to take us through until 2017, and the new imaging that you contribute to will go live in time for our fifth anniversary!

We’d like you to be the voice of our station imaging, including leading in to the news and splitting up the songs. If all goes well and you’re especially keen, we may be interested in you lending your voice to community ads and show-specific jingles also!

We want a voice that’s local to the area, so you’re at a big advantage if you’re from Tyneside, but we will consider all demos submitted to us.

In return for your time we’ll provide you with the fully produced final audio for your demos, and you’ll have the thanks of all 100+ of our active volunteers!
