ScreenHI develops talent in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland and this year we’re working with Dabster Productions, an independent production company based in Edinburgh.

Dabster produce unique programmes for the national BBC Radio stations and make podcasts and digital content for a wide range of clients including The Guardian, Amnesty International and The Radio Academy.

We are looking for 2 Content Producers to join the Dabster team in Edinburgh in August to work on the E4 Udderbelly Podcalf – a daily live entertainment show recorded in a two hundred seat theatre with guests from across the Fringe, syndicated online, eighteen live shows in August.

You’ll also get the opportunity to work on some of the other projects Dabster have on their slate: Pleasance Comedy Festival Podcast – a daily magazine podcast curated and presented by the very best of the Pleasance’s programme; Hardeep at the Stand – our returning comedy series for BBC Radio Scotland and Radio 4Extra and a few others.

Responsibilities:
Current base in the Highlands and Islands;
Passion for radio packaging, interviewing, editing and creating content;
Ability to write guest and interviewee biogs, briefs, interviews and web content that’s accurate and informative;
Excellent organisational skills;
Some knowledge of Cubase or other industry edit software and willingness to learn more;
Unsociable hours will be a common feature of this contract.

Remuneration:
There is a one-off fee of £1,400.

Duration:
Monday 30th July – Tuesday 28th August inclusive.
