Marketing Member, Erewash Sound

Have you ever thought about working in radio? There is more to it than the person behind the microphone.

Erewash Sound is a licenced community radio station broadcasting 24/7 on 96.8 FM and online. We are looking to expand our marketing operation within the borough to really sell ourselves to potential listeners.

Our marketing team is an active team that organizes and carries out marketing events and operations to raise our profile and sell the station to the area. Other members such as presenters on the station also help carry out the actual marketing events but its the actual marketing team who organize such events.

So if you’re an enthusiastic person looking for a new challenge, if you’re looking for some practical media experience and want a career in marketing or PR. Plus you want to get involved with a genuinely local radio station, broadcast entirely from the borough then this could be the place for you.

Please note that ALL positions are voluntary.

You would need: – to be a strong team player – to be a people person – have some time to spare on a regular basis.
