Local radio station in Hayes, West London looking for a EVENING PRESENTERS

Please note: This is a VOLUNTARY ROLE.
Positions available are for WEEKDAY EVENINGS (6PM/7PM to 9PM)

ESSENTIAL:

• Must live within and have good knowledge of the Boroughs of Hillingdon, Ealing, Hounslow even Harrow;

• Presentation experience is an advantage, as is a good voice is.

• Must have a passion for news, music and radio;

• Would suit someone just out of University looking for a first step in; Hospital Radio; Student Radio, other Community Radio with availability; OR someone with a day job, looking for voluntary role in the evening.

• Must have a wide range of music tastes from the last 6 decades to Brit Asian and World Music

ADVANTAGE:

• Some technical knowledge;

• Good Writing Skills, able to Research stories, work on own initiative and directly with the Editor.

• An understanding of diversity in all its forms, and knowledge of communities, as the area comprises a mix of English, South Asian, Irish, African Caribbean and pockets of other smaller communities.
