Sport is the premier male sports brand in free media. Since acquisition by UTV Media in 2009 we have gone from strength to strength working alongside our sister brand at talkSPORT. Post London 2012 our focus turns to expanding our digital footprint. Sport for iPad launched in Nov 2011 and is consistently gaining subscribers. Sport-magazine.co.uk re-launched in August 2010 and is also optimized for mobile. Sport mobile (iPhone and Android) is scheduled for launch in Oct 2012. However, our print proposition remains the heart of our business.

Therefore we are looking for an experienced creative solutions executive / manager to work across all of our channels (and closely with talkSPORT). The role would report into the Sport Business Director.
The candidate must be able to demonstrate
- Creative solution sales experience within newspapers or consumer magazines – Digital / mobile / cross platform creative solutions sales experience – (The above must include examples of large scale, long term sponsorships and brand solutions) – Media agency sponsorship team contacts – PR agency contacts – Sports Marketing Agency contacts – A winning mentality. It is an absolute must. The candidate must expect to make a large number of phone calls and meetings – A reasonable level of knowledge of sport in general and the sporting calendar etc. – Creative solution writing and presenting – The ability to take the sport brand to governing bodies, marketing bodies and agencies it is not as well established in – The ability to think big!
