Reading 107 is recruiting its next talented journalist.

Our town has top Olympic rowers, a world famous festival and a Premier League football club.

We’re one of the few truly local independent radio stations remaining in the country, which enables us to work in a very different way to the groups.

This is the perfect role for someone who is bright, bubbly and happy to give it their all at 5am, as well as being confident and keen to bag the big stories as our roving reporter.

Knowledge of Reading and the surrounding areas is an advantage.

If you have-

– At least two years experience in a radio newsroom

- Good knowledge of media law

- An ability to write sharp engaging copy

- A passion for getting out and about in the local community

- A full clean driving license
