Station Manager, Radio Gujurat

Radio Gujarat is part of the Sunrise Radio Group, broadcasting worldwide on AM, DAB, satellite and online. We are looking for a station Manager to play a key role on the Programming and production developing and delivering programmes for the Gujarati community in the UK and worldwide.
Must have significant sales & management experience, with plenty of common sense.
Knowledge of the Gujarati language is desirable.
A superb communicator with diplomacy and discretion you will also be a strategic thinker; a creative problem solver and possess strong negotiating skills, be happy to share knowledge and make decisions. You’ll have the ability to remain calm, organized and focused under pressure, hit tight deadlines as well as having strong editorial judgment a good solid practical knowledge of the technical aspects of radio programming to the highest quality, working with different cultures and good mentoring skills would be highly beneficial.
You’ll have an understanding of the global broadcasting industry and experience to effectively manage a small team of broadcasters.

Salary – 20,000 PA + share of Profit
Location – Southall, London
Contract Type – full time, 48 hours per week
